Unearthing an Old Discussion via Dan Pink

One of our first posts on this blog debated a TED talk given by bestselling author Dan Pink. The author of Drive talks about instrinsic versus extrinsic motivators and gives a subtle attack on the use of incentives. Our rebuttal backed up a well-thought out response from Paul Hebert of i2i.

Recently, we ran across another RSA animation of a Dan Pink talk discussing the same topic. It's a little more entertaining than just watching a talking head so we thought we'd repost this to drive a little more discussion.

We asked back then and then we'll ask again. Is Dan Pink right? Throw down some Friday discussion in the comments if you want.
